The Bicester Road pub beat 700 rivals in the area to land the prestigious prize. David Roe, CAMRA's Aylesbury Vale & Wycombe Branch Chairman, said: "This is remarkable because only a few years ago the pub was totally run down and going nowhere. "It has been transformed by local brewers Vale Brewery and is now a mecca for beer drinkers."
